FLEXIBLE LAB SUPPORT · GREATER MANCHESTER
Optical technician cover, without the drama
Need an experienced pair of hands for planned leave, an unexpected gap or a busy week? Abbey RX can provide temporary optical lab and locum glazing support at your laboratory or through ours.
COVER THAT FITS THE GAP
A practical bridge when your lab needs help
Through our laboratory
Where it suits the requirement, we may be able to collect a defined batch or short run of glazing work, complete it at Abbey RX and return it to your practice.
Planned or short notice
Ask about holiday cover, staff absence, busy periods or a temporary backlog. Short-notice support may be possible when capacity allows.
Availability and price are provided on application. Tell us the dates, location, equipment, expected workload and type of glazing involved.
NOT READY TO MOVE EVERYTHING?
Try us with a few jobs first.
A temporary batch or a week of cover gives your practice a low-risk way to see how we work before discussing an ongoing glazing arrangement.

What to tell us
Can you work in our own optical laboratory?
Potentially, yes. Support at your laboratory is considered according to its location, equipment, dates and the work required.
Can we send work to Abbey RX instead?
Yes, a defined batch or temporary run can be discussed as an alternative to on-site cover.
How much does optical technician cover cost?
Pricing is supplied on application because dates, travel, equipment and workload differ between practices.
Need cover in the lab?
